  • 35,000 innocent people, mainly georgians, were brutally murdered in Abkhazia by international terrorists like Shamil Basaev, Gelaev, Sultan Sosnaliev, Harat Kazbek, Boris Akuminichev, and others
  • As a result of international terror in Abkhazia, 500,000 (or 80% of population) were forced to be displaced from their homeland.

Abkhazia (Abkhaz: Аҧсны́ Apsny [apʰsˈnɨ]; Georgian: აფხაზეთი Apkhazeti; Russian: Абхазия Abkhaziya) is a disputed territory on the eastern coast of the Black Sea and the south-western flank of the Caucasus.

Abkhazia considers itself an independent state, called the Republic of Abkhazia or Apsny. This status is recognised by Russia, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Nauru, Tuvalu and also by the partially recognised state of South Ossetia, and the unrecognized Transnistria and Nagorno-Karabakh.

Our core mission is to catalyze and produce pioneering research and to shape public policy by integrating knowledge and methods across the social sciences to find ways for peaceful resolution of conflicts in the Georgian separatist regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia by joint project in social and economical spheres with mutual interests, including education, diseases prevention and control.
